Please keep in mind it is usually cooler on the water, so it is best to dress in layers; wear light soled shoes.

Yes! We will follow the MD DNR guidelines for all catch. We will practice safe catch and release as well.

MoreFins is always working hard on scouting fish prior to the day of your charter. We will fish surrounding areas of Kent Island, MD. If necessary, we will trailer to other regions of the Chesapeake Bay.

Kent Island is a short drive from Annapolis, Washington DC, and Baltimore. A day on the Chesapeake Bay is a great way to explore some of the best fishing that Maryland has to offer.

We will be casting topwater plugs, casting spoons, and jigging in various depths. If you are new to jigging, hiring a guide is a perfect way to enhance your jigging skills.

The Chesapeake Bay is a fantastic fishery. The Maryland state fish is Striped Bass, also known as Rockfish. Rockfish is the primary target fish, as well as Bluefiish, Spanish Mackerel, white perch, speckled trout, Blackdrum, Redfish, and Cobia.

Yes! I provide quality St Croix Rods, Shimano Reels, and all the lures needed; but feel free to bring your favorite gear.
